Sicily, Agrigentum Didrachm circa 488-478, AR 20mm., 8.39g. Eagle standing l. Rev. Creb within incuse circle. Westermark, Akragas 176. SNG ANS 940 (these dies).

Rare combination of dies, two specimens listed in the corpus. Attractive old cabinet tone, minor marks, Very Fine.

From a Swiss collection from Tessin assembled in the 1920's (sold with its original ticket).
