Cyprus, Uncertain mint Siglos circa 480, AR 22.00 mm., 10.58 g.
Lion crouching r.; in exergue, go or ko in Cypriot characters. Rev. Bull standing l.; below, go or ko in Cypriot characters, within incuse square. BMC p. xlv and pl. XXV, 9 (Golgi) and p. 69, 2, pl. XIII, 6 (uncertain mint). Weber 7740. Jameson 2331. Tziambazis –. SNG Copenhagen 65 (Soli or Golgi). Boston, MFA 2145 (these dies).

Extremely rare and an issue of tremendous importance and fascination. Minor porosity and tiny flan crack; otherwise Very Fine. In addition, winning bids of UK (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) clients for this coin are subject to a 5% fee on hammer price as a reimbursement for import vat/duty paid to HMRC
