Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy I Soter. As King, 305-282 B.C. AE obol (20mm, 7.3 g). Alexandria mint, struck 290-282 B.C. Diademed head of Alexander right, wearing elephant skin headdress / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt with spread wings; to left, XA monogram, trident punch mark.
