Divus Augustus, died AD 14. As (Copper, 26.5 mm, 9.29 g, 6 h), Restitution issue under Titus, Rome, 80-81. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Divus Augustus left; small star above. Rev. IMP T CAES AVG RESTITVIT / S C Eagle standing left, with spread wings on globe, head turned right. BMC -. Komnick Type 34.0. RIC² 462 (Titus). Glossy dark green-brown surfaces; particularly pleasant on hand. Very fine.
