Chalkidian League. Olynthos. Circa 432-348 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 14.08 g, 6 h), Am..., 412-410. Laureate head of Apollo to left, some strands of hair falling down the back of his neck. Rev. Χ-Α-Λ/ΚΙΔ/ΕΩΝ Kithara with seven strings; in tiny letters, on left and right uprights, Α - Μ. BMFA 577 (same dies). Robinson & Clement 16 (A14/P15). Toned and with an elegant head of Apollo. Some porosity, minor scrapes, scuffs and edge bangs, otherwise, about extremely fine.
