Etruria
Populonia. 3rd century BC. Sembella or 1/4 obol (?) (Silver, 6 mm, 0.15 g). Head of young Herakles (Hercle) to left; around, border of pellets. Rev. Blank. Apparently hitherto unpublished and unknown, but cf. Vecchi EC I, p. 287, 126 (as or obol) for the general series. Of great rarity, at present unique. Clear and with a dark patina as found. About extremely fine.
