Description

Pamphylia
Side. Circa 460-430 BC. Stater (Silver, 19.5 mm, 10.85 g, 11 h), c. 440-430. Pomegranate; all within a dotted guilloche border. Rev. Helmeted head of Athena to right; all within incuse square. Atlan 16 (O15/A14). SNG von Aulock 4762. Weber 7353 (same dies). A clear, well-struck example in fine silver, struck from a relatively fresh obverse die. Usual die break on the reverse and struck on a tight flan, otherwise, good very fine.
