Description
PHRYGIA. Eumeneia. Tiberius, 14-37. (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.15 g, 6 h), struck under the magistrate Valerius Smertorix. ΣΕΒΑΣ-ΤΟΣ Bare head of Tiberius to right. Rev. OYA/ΛEΡIOΣ / ZMEΡT/OΡIX / EΥ/MENE/ΩN in seven lines within laurel wreath. BMC 5. RPC 3144. Green patina. Light cleaning marks on obverse, encrustation on reverse, otherwise, very fine.
