KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 4.24 g, 12 h), Miletos, c. 295/0-275/0 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟ[Y] Zeus seated left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, monogram of MI. Marcellesi 29. Price 2151. Well centered and well struck. Good very fine.
