Description
PERSIA, Alexandrine Empire. Uncertain satraps of Babylon, circa 328-311 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 4.07 g, 3 h), Babylon. Baaltars seated left, holding scepter in right hand and resting his left on the throne. Rev. Lion walking left; above, pentagram; in exergue, monogram. Cf. Nicolet-Pierre p. 290, 5 (stater). Toned. Very fine.
