CAMPANIA. Neapolis. Circa 326/317-290 BC. Nomos or Didrachm (Silver, 18.5 mm, 7.26 g, 4 h). Diademed head of Parthenope to right, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; to left, cornucopiae. Rev. [N]EOΠOΛΙΤΩΝ Man-headed bull walking right; above, Nike flying right, placing wreath on bull's head; below, Π. HN III 579. Sambon 474a. SNG ANS 365-6. SNG BN 742-5. Lightly toned and of pleasing style. Very fine.
