Description

Tranquillina, Augusta, 241-244. Antoninianus (Silver, 21mm, 4.90 g 7), Rome, 241. SABINIA TRANQVILLINA AVG Diademed and draped bust of Tranquillina on crescent to right. Rev. CONCORDIA AVGG Gordian III, on left standing right, and Tranquillina, on right standing left, clasping their right hands together. Cohen 4. RIC 250. Very rare. A clear, toned and well struck coin with an outstanding pedigree. About extremely fine.
