Italy, Kingdom of Naples. Charles I of Spain, the Emperor Charles V, 1516-1519-1554. Carlino (Silver, 25mm, 3.43 g 1), Naples, mintmaster Luigi Ram, undated but soon after 1519. .CAROLVS.IIIII.IM.RO. Crowned, draped and beardless bust of Charles I to left; behind, R. Rev. .R.ARAGO.VTRIVSQ.SI.ET. Crowned double-headed eagle over oval shield bearing the Hapsburg arms. CNI XIX, p. 350, 570 var. MIR 145. PR 32. Very rare. Attractively toned. Some minor marks and scratches, otherwise , about extremely fine.
