THRACE. Byzantium. Rhoemetalces I, c. 11 BC-AD 12. (Bronze, 19 mm, 6.36 g, 6 h), with Augustus. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΡΟΙΜΗΤΑΛΚΟΥ Diademed head of Rhoemetalces I to right. Rev. ΚΑΙΣΑΡΟΣ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ Bare head of Augustus to right. RPC I 1718; Youroukova 194-200. Well struck and and fine example. Dark greenish-brown patina. Nearly extremely fine.
