KINGS OF MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes, 306-283 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 1.99 g, 12 h), Tarsos, c. 298-295. Nike on prow of galley to left, blowing a trumpet. Rev. ΒΑΣΙ-ΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ Poseidon Pelagaios throwing trident left; to left, AN monogram within circle. HGC 3, 1018. Newell 45. Clear. Slightly porous, otherwise, very fine.
