TROAS. Abydos. 4th century BC. Hemiobol (Bronze, 21 mm, 5.69 g, 12 h), c. 330. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ABY Eagle standing to right; to right, facing bust of Artemis. SNG Ashmolean -. SNG Copenhagen 25. Dark green patina. Light porosity, otherwise, very fine.
This coin has to be contemporary to the famous gold Stater with the facing head of Artemis (NGSA 6, lot 84).
