Leo VI the Wise, 886-912. Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 8.12 g, 6 h), Constantinople. + LEOh BAS-ILEVS ROm' Crowned bust of Leo VI facing, wearing chlamys and holding akakia in his right hand. Rev. + LEOҺ/ EҺ ӨEO ЬA/SILEVS R/OMEOҺ in four lines. DOC 8. SB 1729. Well centered, and with a dark brown patina. Good very fine.
