TROAS. Antandros. 4th-3rd century BC. (Bronze, 8 mm, 0.73 g, 6 h). Head of female (Artemis Astyrene?) to right. Rev. ANTAN Head of lion to right, slightly facing. SNG Ashmolean 1045 corr. ( the obverse is described as Apollo, but the head is identical to that on our coin, and is clearly female; grape bunch below lion's head ). Dark patina with earthen deposits. Rare. Very fine.
