LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 443-400 BC. Triobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.10 g, 9 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with an olive wreath. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙ Bull walking to left, head lowered; in exergue, grey mullet swimming to left. HN III 1777. Pozzi 227 ( this coin ). SNG ANS 1108. Well-centered, lightly toned and of splendid Classical style. Lightly rough surfaces, otherwise, about extremely fine.
