CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 9.40 g, 7 h). Head of Tanit to left, wreathed with grain ears, wearing triple pendant earring and necklace with ten pendants. Rev. Horse standing to right; on groundline, before hindlegs, trefoil of pellets with point upwards. CNP 1.5s. Jenkins & Lewis Group IIIi, 106 ( same dies ). MAA 4. Crisp detail and exceptional ouster, with a large and impressive head of Tanit. Minor die faults, otherwise, good extremely fine.
