AMANTIVM IRA AMICITIÆ REDINTEGRATIO EST (= the anger of lovers renews their friendship ) Neptune, seated facing in a car drawn over the waves by two sea-horses, holding the shields of the Commonwealth and the Netherlands on his knees; to left and right, triton; to left and right of Neptune’s head, Jerian - Pool ; below waves, fecit - Amsterdami . Rev. Laudatory inscription in 15 lines commemorating the Peace of Westminster, signed on 15 April, ratified on 2 May and proclaimed on 27 May 1654. MI, I, p. 416, 53. PiN 210.
