Tarentum. Circa 272-240 BC. Nomos (Silver, 20mm, 6.51 g 5), Damokritos. ΔΑΜΟ - [ΚΡΙΤΟΣ] Youthful nude jockey riding horse walking to right; behind jockey, Nike flying right to crown him. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Phalanthos riding dolphin to right, holding cornucopiae in his right hand and trident in his left; behind, monogram. HN III 1043. Vlasto 915 ( this coin ).
