ARKADIA. Mantineia. Circa 420-385 BC. Obol (Silver, 11.5 mm, 0.83 g, 2 h). Acorn with ＾ above. Rev. Large letter Μ above ΜΑΝ in small letters. BCD Peloponnesos 1471. BMC -. CsP 380 var. HGC 5, 901. Rare. Clearly struck. Traces of corrosion and with uncleaned deposits on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

The curious ＾ that seems to sit atop the acorn is very likely a crude attempt at a stem!
