Head of a calf to right; at the neck truncation to left, miniature irregular incuse rectangle; all incuse. BMFA 1679 ff. Bodenstedt 13. Dewing 2233. Lightly toned and most attractive. About extremely fine.

Do note that this lion, and the one in the previous lot, are clearly related to the lions of Lydia: do note the curious rayed-wart above his eye!
