Description

SICILY. Selinos. Circa 540-515 BC. (Silver, 22 mm, 8.74 g). Selinon leaf; to upper right, pellet. Rev. Incuse square divided into ten compartments, four of which are filled. Arnold-Biucchi Group I, 2. Weber 1527 ( this coin ). Sharply struck and deeply toned. A few small scratches and traces of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
