PHOENICIA. Arados. Circa 138/7-44/3 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 15.31 g, 1 h), year 196 = 64-63. Turreted, diademed, veiled and draped bust of the city-goddess of Arados to right. Rev. APAΔIΩN Nike standing left, holding wreath in right hand and palm branch in left; to left, ςqΡ above Phoenician H above AN; all within wreath. DCA 772. Duyrat 3911 ff. HGC 10, 72. Deeply toned, well struck and nicely centered. Good very fine.
