Description
Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 12.01 g, 1 h), Ephesos, c. 25 BC. IMP CAESAR Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Garlanded and filleted altar; on the front, two stags facing each other. BMC 694. BN 922. RIC² 479. RPC I 2215. Toned. Scratch on the reverse, and slightly off center, otherwise, about very fine.
