LUCANIA. Metapontum. Circa 325-275 BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 0.77 g, 11 h). Head of Demeter to right, wreathed with gran ears. Rev. META Grain ear with leaf to right; above leaf, plow; below [Π](?). Cf. HN III 1594 ( triobol ) and 1599 ( diobol, but different symbol ). Cf. Johnston Group F2 ( triobols ). Seemingly unpublished. About very fine.
