Description
GAUL. Massalia. Circa 440-410 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.98 g). Male head to leftt, wearing a Boeotian-style helmet ornamented with a four-spoked wheel. Rev. Four-spoked wheel with heavy struts. F/Py OBM-2k. Lightly toned and clear. Very fine.
From the Montecristo Collection, acquired in 1990.
