CARIA. Uncertain (Mylasa ?). Circa 480-450 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 11.29 g). Forepart of lion with open jaws to right. Rev. Oblong incuse divided by a band. Possibly unpublished. With the forepart of a ruggedly ferocious lion, similar to the contemporary issues of Knidos but ruder in conception. Minor test cut on both sides, otherwise, good very fine.
