Chariot drawn to left by a single horse, below, lyre; partly defaced with chisel marks in the die. Delestrée & Tache 97 var (denomination). A fresh example struck on a tight flan. Nearly extremely fine.

Although the weight is typical for a quarter stater, this coin was probably struck from dies intended to strike half staters (Delestrée & Tache 97).
