ISLAMIC, Seljuks. Rum. Ghiyath al-Din Kay Khusraw II, first reign, AH 634-644 / AD 1237-1246. Dirham (Silver, 22 mm, 2.87 g, 6 h), Qunya (Konya), AH 641 = 1243/4 AD. Legend with the name of the Abbasid Caliph caliph Al-Mustan'sim Lion walking to right; above, radiant sun with human face; above lion to left, star. Rev. “Titles of Ala al-Din Kay Qubadh, mint and date” Inscription in central square and around; three stars in the center. Album 1117. Broome 277j. Scarce variety. Nearly extremely fine.
