Nike advancing to left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm branch with her left; to left, round shield. Rev. ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΩΝ Macedonian shield within oak wreath. AMNG 231, pl III, 9 = BMC 91 = RPC 1622. Extremely rare, apparently the second example known. Sharply struck and attractive, with glossy dark, brown-green surfaces. About extremely fine.
