A ROMAN BRONZE HORSE HEAD APPLIQUE Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. The horse head, slightly turned to its proper right, is framed by two 'wings' and emerges from a circular disc. Possibly a representation of Pegasus (?). Remains of an iron pin or stud for attachment on the back. H 31 mm, Depth 24 mm
