AN ELABORATELY DECORATED ISLAMIC MEDIEVAL SILVER RING Timurid dynasty, circa 15th century AD. A heavy silver ring with a navette-shaped bezel, all over decorated with an intricate ‘arabesque’ design. The ornaments on the bezel, the shoulders, and the hoop were originally inlaid with gold and green enamel, traces of which are still preserved. Ring size 61 (EU)
