AN EARLY THRACIAN SILVER FIBULA OF THE 'THESSALIAN TYPE'
Circa 6th century BC.
Richly decorated bow brooch with trapezoid catch-plate. The foot terminates in a small conical knob. With incised and punched decoration. Made of one piece with spring and pin.
L 40 mm
Ex European private collection, acquired on the art market between circa 2000-2018.
