A Roman Bronze Handle Attachment with a Theatre Mask
Circa 1st-3rd century AD.
Handle attachment (or jug handle) in the form of a tragic theatrical mask. Upper part, and lower part of hair broken.
H 47 mm Ex European private collection, acquired on the German art market before 2000.
