Two Roman Bronze Lion Head Appliques
Circa 2nd-3rd century AD.
Two round appliques in the shape of a lion's head. The smaller piece features remains of tinning; the larger piece heavily worn and damaged.
Diameter 32 mm, and 37 mm (max.) Ex European private collection, acquired on the German art market before 2000.
