Two Roman Bronze Statuettes of a Thracian Horseman
Circa 2nd-3rd century AD.
One statuette shows the hero with long hair, wearing a tunic and cuirass (?), his right hand raised; lower left arm and right leg missing. The other statuette features the hero with a patera in his left hand; right arm broken.
H 55 mm, and H 49 mm Ex private collection, acquired on the German art market before 2000.
