Bust of Leo I, helmeted, pearl-diademed, cuirassed, facing front, holding spear in right hand behind head and shield decorated with horseman on left arm, Victory, winged, draped, standing left, supporting long jeweled cross; star in right field., Test punch on the reverse as well as graffiti: two letters in the left field, to the left of the cross, a C, to the right an O or d (?) and in the right field, three vertical lines. The lower part of the flan is slightly bent, with the edge pinched at 4. Possibly due to an old mounting as jewellery., D N LEO PE - RPET AVG, VICTORI - A AVGGG A // CONOB

Buste de Léon Ier, casqué, perlé-diadémé, cuirassé, de face, tenant une lance de la main droite derrière la tête et un bouclier orné d'un cavalier sur le bras gauche., Victoire, ailée, drapée, debout à gauche, soutenant une longue croix ornée de bijoux ; étoile dans le champ droit, Poinçon d'essai au revers ainsi que des graffitis : deux lettres dans le champ gauche, à gauche de la croix, un C, à droite un O ou d (?) et dans le champ droit, trois lignes verticales.
