John hypatos (eighth century) Pb seal (8.38g, 17mm)
Obverse: Cruciform invocative monogram (indeterminate type); in the quarters: –..|–Λ̣. No visible border. Θεοτόκε (or Κύριε) βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ.
Reverse: Inscription of four lines beginning and ending with a cross. No visible border.
|ΙΩΝ|ΝΗ ΥΠ|Τ| =Ἰωάννῃ ὑπα[τ]ῳ.
