Ionia, Uncertain mint EL 1/12 stater or hemihecte (Electrum, 1.16g, 7mm) ca. 600-550 BC.
Obv: Head of roaring lion right
Rev: Incuse quadripartite square punch with rough interior surfaces.
Ref: Linzalone 1123 (Smyrna). Cf. Rosen 313 (Uncertain Ionia, hecte) and 348 (same, 1/24 stater). Cf. SNG Kayhan 708-710 (Uncertain Ionia, 1/24 staters).
