Description

Kings of Cappadocia, Ariarathes V Eusebes Philopator (ca. 163-130 BC), drachm (Silver, 18.1 mm, 3.90 g), mint A (Eusebeia under Mt. Argaios), dated RY 33 = 130/29 BC.
Obv: Diademed head right.
Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / APIAPAΘOY / EYΣEBOYΣ, Athena standing left, holding Nike and spear, and resting hand upon shield, A / C to outer left, monogram to inner left, Δ to outer right, date ΓΛ in exergue.
