Octavian as Augustus (27 BC-AD 14) AR-Denarius (17.8 mm, 3.61 g, 5h). Spanish (Colonia Caesaraugusta?) mint, struck circa 19-18 BC.
Obv. Head right, wearing oak wreath.
Rev. CAESAR AVGVSTVS, shield inscribed CL•V; S P Q R around, laurel branches flanking.
RIC I 36a; RSC 51; CBN 1333-7 (Nimes).

A lovely example with a nice portrait. Some golden highlights around the devices and a countermark on obverse, otherwise superb EF.
