Description

Octavian as Augustus (27 BC-AD 14) AR-Denarius (19.3 mm, 3.67 g, 6h). North Peloponnesian or Pergamum mint, struck circa 21 BC.
Obv. AVGVSTVS, bare head right.
Rev. Laurel wreath intertwined with prows, the wreath ties arranged centrally.
RIC 473; MCRE 669 = BMCRR East 260; RSC 335; CBN 940.

Lightly toned with some golden hues. Minor banker’s mark on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
