KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. Magnesia ad Maeandrum.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: monograms in left field and below throne; B to outer right.
Price 1959.
Condition: Near extremely fine.
Weight: 4.23 g.
Diameter: 18 mm.
