CIVIL WAR (68-69). Denarius. Uncertain mint in Spain.

Obv: BON EVENT FELICITAS.
Diademed and draped bust of Bonus Eventus right.
Rev: PAX / P - R.
Two clasped right hands holding winged caduceus.

RIC² 10 corr. (obv. legend).

Extremely rare, just three specimens known. Ex Sotheby's (4 November 1982), lot 551, from the collection of Hugh Percy (circa 1714-1786), Duke of Northumberland.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 3.48 g.
Diameter: 19 mm.
