KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Arados. Dated CY 61 (199/8 BC).
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: Palm tree in left field, monogram below throne; ΞA (date) in exergue.
Price 3391; HGC 10, 61.
Condition: Good very fine.
Weight: 17.00 g.
