ROMAN EMPIRE. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (3.13 gm; 18 mm). Rome mint. Struck AD 204. Laureate head right / Dea Caelestis riding right on lion, holding scepter and thunderbolt; below, water gushing left from rocks. RIC IV 266; BMCRE 335; RSC 222. Lovely strike on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Lustrous.
