EGYPT, Alexandria. Gordian III. 238-244 AD. Billon Tetradrachm (12.31 gm; 22 mm). Year 2 (=238/9 AD). Laureate, draped bust right / Eagle with folded wings standing left, head right, wreath in beak. Colonge 2622. Silvering on the surface. Great strike. Choice Good EF. Lovely example.
